I use basic field mapping, petrology, U-Pb geochronology, and Sm-Nd, Rb-Sr and U-Pb isotope geochemistry in orogenic belts to unravel their history of magmatism and deformation. Fundamentally, this research is applied to understanding how the continents have grown and been stabilized throughout Earth history. ![]() |
