For students engaged in geological studies in North and South Carolina.


MacCarthy Memorial Fund
 
To provide general support to the Department of Geological Sciences with preference given to the support of the MacCarthy Seismological Laboratory or other geophysical activities.

To recognize a student for significant research contributions and publications.
